The COD landing page checklist: what makes Tunisian buyers order

By the Roodix team · · 7 min read

A cash-on-delivery landing page has one job: get a phone number and an address from someone who saw your ad seconds ago. Here is the checklist we use to review COD pages, top to bottom.

Above the fold: product, price, button

  • A real photo or short video of the product, not a supplier render.
  • The price in DT, and the pack offers if you have them ("2 for 149 DT").
  • The delivery fee and delay.
  • "Payment on delivery" stated clearly.
  • An order button the buyer does not need to scroll to find.

Proof: COD buyers look for it

Paying at the door lowers the risk, but buyers still want to know the product is real. Show the product in use, close-ups of details, customer photos, and how to reach you on WhatsApp or by phone.

The order form

  1. Phone number first: it is the one field you cannot do without.
  2. Governorate and délégation from a list, then the address.
  3. Name, quantity, and an optional note.
  4. Nothing else. Every extra field costs orders.

Put the form on the page itself, not behind a second click, and repeat a sticky order button on mobile.

Mobile first, in the buyer's language

Almost all of your traffic comes from phones. Check the page on a cheap Android on mobile data, not on your laptop. Write in the language of your ad: Arabic pages need right-to-left layout, French pages left-to-right.

Do not lose the buyers who leave

Some buyers type their phone number and stop. If your page saves the phone number as soon as it is entered, you can call or message them while they still remember your product.

Track what turns into delivered orders

Install your Meta and TikTok pixels, keep UTM tags on your ad links, and send confirmed orders back to Meta with the Conversions API. Then compare pages and ads by confirmed and delivered orders, not by clicks.

Roodix landing pages include the order form, abandoned-order recovery, pixels and Conversions API out of the box, and send every order to your order board.

Frequently asked questions

Should my landing page be in Arabic or French?

Use the language of your ad and your audience. Many Tunisian sellers test both; just make sure Arabic pages use a right-to-left layout.

How long should a COD landing page be?

Long enough to answer the buyer's questions and show proof, with the order form reachable at any point through a sticky button.

Do I need a website to run COD ads?

No. Many sellers send ads straight to Messenger or WhatsApp, or to a hosted landing page.
